The workshop will be hosted by University of Sannio in S. Agostino building, near the "Arco di Traiano" from 10th to 11th September, 2025.
How to reach Benevento:
- By Train: Benevento is well-connected by rail, with services from Trenitalia and Italo. You can take a direct train from cities like Milano, Bologna, Roma, Napoli.
- By Air: The nearest airport is Naples Capodichino Airport, about 80 km away. From there, you can take a train or bus to Benevento. If you want to travel from the Naples Capodichino airport to Benevento by a car with driver, you can contact the Mazzone Turismo agency at +39 0824 482030 to make a reservation. The estimated cost is 150 euros (maximum 3 people).

Benevento is a fascinating city with a lot to offer, both historically and culturally. In terms of things to do, you can explore the city's many historical sites like the Arco di Traiano, Teatro Romano, and Chiesa di Santa Sofia. You can also visit the Museo del Sannio and the Chiostro di Santa Sofia, as well as the Rocca dei Rettori (also known as Castello di Benevento). Additionally, the Duomo di Benevento, Hortus Conclusus, and the Anfiteatro Romano are worth a visit.
